METAL MAYHEM PROJECT: South Africa’s Steel Revolution • There is a particular moment in practical shooting when a match stops feeling like simply another day at the range. The equipment is familiar. The safety briefing is complete. Magazines are loaded, holsters checked and competitors are waiting their turn. Then the timer sounds, the first shot breaks and everything suddenly becomes about movement, decision-making, accuracy, time and a symphony of sound. That is the environment in which South Africa’s Metal Mayhem Project has been building its identity.

EPPSA Handgun Level III Selection Match • The Eastern Province Practical Shooting Association (EPPSA) hosted its Handgun Level III selection match at the Port Elizabeth Rifle and Pistol Club (PERPC) from 8 to 11 October. A total of 339 competitors made up twentyfour squads.
