      In their second book, the Keepers are up against Maleficent and a new army of animal holograms, including tigers, monkeys, and a huge flying lizard. Despite these threats, the story has no feeling of danger or tension; every challenge quickly becomes a non-problem. There are some imaginative details, but the characters behave inconsistently and do little to capture readers' interest.
